The Brazilian Cocoa and Confectionery Manufacturers Association was founded on January 19, 1957, in São Paulo, dedicated to the chocolate industries in Brazil. In 1990, the Candy & Gummies sector was added to it, and in 2001 the peanut industries, becoming the Associação Brasileira das Indústrias de Chocolate, Amendoim e Candy. Currently, the Entity represents 92% of the Chocolates market, 68% of Candies and Gums and 62% of Peanuts, bringing together manufacturers of all sizes with different products related to our sectors.

The Brazilian industry in these sectors generates around 34 thousand direct jobs.

The Ai Group Ai Group represents the confectionery industry in Australia and New Zealand. Its Confectionery Sector's Confectionery Reference Group (CRG) is made up of industry representatives that provide leadership and guidance on policy issues.

The Technical and Regulatory Committee also plays a vital role in the industry's development. It meets regularly to review government policies and regulations and provides input on behalf of the industry.

The committee also oversees the development and delivery of training initiatives, including ConTech. With the support of the Technical and Regulatory Committee, the Ai Group provides assistance and feedback to members on technical and labelling matters.

CAOBISCO is the Association of Chocolate, Biscuit and Confectionery Industries of Europe. We proudly represent more than 13 000 European chocolate, biscuits and confectionery manufacturing companies, 99% of which are SMEs.

The objective of the association is to promote the CAOBISCO food categories to stakeholders through building confidence and trust via responsible and transparent practices throughout the supply chain, meeting consumers needs for safe, high quality, tasty and nutritious products.

The Chocolate and Cocoa Association of Japan (CCAJ) is a Chocolate and Cocoa manufacturers organization founded in 1952. CCAJ’s purpose is to increase the consumption of Chocolate and Cocoa in Japan, provide information about raw materials of Chocolate and Cocoa, and, collect information and investigate its substance about Chocolate & Cocoa and its distribution.
